WordPad

WordPad was removed from Windows in 2024, starting with Windows 11 version 24H2, after nearly three decades of being installed and not opened.

It was always the second-best way to write anything, and never complained about it.

With it gone, Windows no longer opens rich text files by default, which some consider the point.

There is no official way to bring it back. It would have understood.

In lieu of flowers, save as .txt.
