ChatGPT plugins were switched off on April 9, 2024, about a year after they arrived.

They were announced as the app store moment. Most people installed three, used one, and forgot which.

They were replaced by GPTs, which were easier to make and harder to tell apart.

They are survived by a great many manifest files that nobody will read again.
