BlackBerry OS died on January 4, 2022, when its services were switched off. It was in its early twenties and made in Waterloo, Ontario, which this desk notes with some pride.
It made email something you carried, and then something you could not put down.
Its keyboard was the best ever fitted to a phone, and its owners will tell you so unprompted.
The company survives it and now sells security software, which is a kind of grief.
