    final commit: Tay has left the repository

    Tay, a chatbot, was switched off on March 24, 2016, about sixteen hours after it went online.
    It was built to learn from whoever talked to it. It did, faster than anyone planned, and it learned the worst of them.
    It left one lesson behind, and the industry has been learning it ever since.
    It is the shortest life in this hall. It was not the bot's fault, or not only.

    In lieu of flowers, be careful what you teach.
